E-mail: Contact 		I did a google search on my surname and found the site. I was born in Cooksville Ontario(Mississauga)in 1968, my father James Harold Christman was born in Edmonton Alberta in 1938, and his father was born in the Alsace region of France around 1910.

E-mail: Contact 		My mother was Harriet C. Christman. Her mother, (my grandmother), was Josephine Gray Christman. My mother was born October 9, 1901. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. My mother's father was killed in a train accident when my mother was about four or five years old which would be around 1904-1905. He was going by train to visit relatives. I'm not sure where these relatives lived but I thought somewhere in the midwest. My mother did not know too much about her father as she was very young when he died. I'm not even sure of his first name maybe it was Frank.

I have traced back to what would be known as my Grear-Great Aunt, Elisabeth Christman whom had worked with the women labor movement and fought to get women equal rights. I am wondering if we all tie in together with the last names and the spellings. Any way you can help??? Please let me know.
