I am tracing her line through Jacob Christman (1711 Germany) I do not know who, or if, he was married. Kowing where we came from is helping to explain who we are, and why. Thank youso much.

Christman came from Wilna?, NY-Jefferson County. I'm just starting out so trying to keep my line straight..I will be studying this site for quite some time. We seem to hale from German-Flats, Herkimer, NY. Anyone else out there???

E-mail: Contact 		My grandfather was August Christman and I never met him he died in a car accident by a drunk driver when my father Carl Christman was 7 years old. All I know is he came from Germany and I am trying to find some more information about my family. I do know that I had an Uncle Robert Christman who lived in Washington State when I was very little. My dad Carl had a brother named Larry Christman and he had 3 sons Larry, Chris and Kevin and last I heard they lived in Concord California area.

E-mail: Contact 		I am trying to connect to one of these Christman sites...My great, great grandfather was George Washington Christman of New York. He died March 17, 1907. His 3rd wife (which he married at 62 was Nettie Britton age 15). She was my great, great grandmother. I have George W. Christman's death certificate which has his father as George Christman and mother is Lana(sp) Thumb. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.

She died in Ferry, Township,Shelby michigan (OCEANA COUNTY)I have a picture of a log cabin and names such as Liddy, Phily, Jake,Lorenzo,Margaret, Aunt EL, children Cinny & Sam and baby Elnors& reno (son) and Sarah alice Hartzog and wife of Phily and her son William. If any one can help me figure out where she actually lived or her sisters and brothers mother or father this would be of great help. She married my Grandpa Grover Clevland Merrillwho was born 1893. He was married once befor her.

E-mail: Contact 		Very impressive! Maria Christman is my ggg grandmother. Her father was David (1778), whose father was Johan George (1739), whose father was Jacob (1711). I stumbled on this site looking for info on the surnames of Jacob and/or David's wives. The haplogroup project is very interesting and I would like to have this test done in the future.

E-mail: Contact 		Thank you for all of your work for the site. The farthest back I can go with my Crisman ancestry is my great-grandfather, Ira Crisman of Blairstown, NJ. He must have been born in the 1860's. His ancestors supposedly settles in Blairstown in the 1700's. Would appreciate any new info. and would gladly participate in your work.
